It was a rush to get there by 1 pm but I took a different route and arrived on time to join a number of community house colleagues who will be participants in this project.
Was pleased that I had an idea of what we had in mind and had the list of Cert III Bus Admin units and how we anticipate they will be delivered as it helped me complete the forms for the e-mentors.
Was pleased that Christine will be PL’s e-mentor as she knows how we tick and the qualification so well. I hope she will be able to point my nose at programs I haven’t heard of.
Need to get headset with microphone.

Thought the demo re Blackboard (which will be main communication tool for e-project) was great and will go to the wiki and print off orientation notes and go in and have a play before next meeting.
Lynne will survey using Doodle to find out suitable time for next meeting which will be in the holidays.
Great first session, all keen to go. Only reservation so far is that I hope I have enough time to maximise the opportunity. Finished at 4 pm.
Great to see you blogging, Jenny.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you enjoyed the regional f2f and felt that you benefitted from it. We hoped it would give everyone a chance to get to know each other, explain the e-mentor project and show folk how to get into BBC - it can be a bit daunting at first as it looks as though all sorts of things are happening to your computer. I have no idea why it feels the need to download Java each time.
